Familiarize yourself with what is happening and what is planned to happen in each state. A good awareness step is to review the 2025 State of the State Address through the National Governors Association. Delaware and Louisiana completed theirs this month, and the majority of our other states completed theirs in the first quarter of 2025. - National Governors Association. Navigate to the National Governor’s Association State of the State for 2025.
- Find Your State of Interest. Open the State of State Address video and text.
- Listen. Listen to the video, speed it up if you need to.
- Pause and Read. Open the text and read through the initiatives or plans that catch your attention.
- Take Note. Continue to pay attention to the progress happening in states that are important to you. What questions do you have? What initiatives can you support? How will you stay aware?
